Well, today I finally met up with the pastor that Heidi Baker told me to get in contact with when I got here. I couldn't find his address or contact details, and then the first time I met with pastor Manuel and his wife, I just asked him whether he had heard about him, and he said that he had worked for him a long time ago, and gave me the number.
It went quite well today, I told him what I felt I wanted to do and he phone a pastor of his church whose wife has a children's home, she is American, I rang her today and will be meeting her on Thursday to talk a little about what I want to do and see how she can help and whatever else comes of that conversation!
So that is good, I didn't know what was going to come of the appointment today as I just felt that God was reminding me to go and get in touch with Colten, and so I just did, and now I will be meeting this woman, and I don't know what will come of that either, but something will!!

Miriam!! :) Glad you gave me your blog. I love keeping up with people on their mission field! Wow, how awesome is it that you're out in Sri Lanka?! And your most recent post sounds like... God's just leading you to places you have no idea about, so praise Jesus. Hehe.
I'm in Korea right now.. the people that God's placed in my life here are wonderful but I have to admit it is also a tough field out here too. Sigh. I am struggling a bit just with myself and I think I just need more of Jesus.. but it's really good to hear from you. I will keep up with your blog :) Many blessings dear friend.
