NEW HOME!!!

Well I moved to my new home two nights ago....the first night I slept on the floor but the next day I purchased the mattress to go on the bed I bought! It's simple but fine for me!
When I went to buy the bed.....in the furniture shop, I was sitting in the office and paying, and there was my friend and her father and brother and those who work in the shop, and then suddenly the chair I was on, well the seat went right through and I fell half way through the seat!! That was rather unexpected for a furniture shop especially!!

Anyway...some kind people lent me some stuff...like a mat to sleep on the floor the first night, and a pillow, and someone is cooking me lunch till I get a stove...the church I got to, and I could say now, that I belong to, are so so nice and helpful and they are like my family here now.
So I am getting settled and enjoying it very much!

Today was the last day of school for 3 weeks. It's also a Sinhala and Tamil festival day, and so the kids came dressed very beautifully
to school, no studying today, so they were quite happy! We played a bit between ourselves and then went up to the nursery and watched them a little and then went down again and had a few bits to eat and then it was over!
Church is having a convention on the 12th April, but I won't be going as my 6 months in a row will be up here in Sri Lanka and I have to leave the country and so I will be going to Cambodia for 3 weeks for a little break and to get refreshed and refocused....pray a lot and rest I hope!
So there we are for now. Shall add some more pictures next time. I won't be going to school for a month as it's the holidays, but I shall actually miss the children, I really love spending the time with them, laughing at them and with them! They are also my family here now!
I'm so surprised when I think that I have been here now nearly 6 months! Time has gone by so so quickly! I have lived in 3 places, got very settled in the church, got friends I can count on here...it's really amazing... when I come back after the holiday...it will be the first time that I return back to everything..like it's my base....so it will be interesting!
Well have to go and teach English....thank you everyone for reading and keeping up to date with what I am doing, it's encouraging for me!
