My first home in Sri Lanka!!!!!

Well, for sometime now I have been searching for a place to live, where I can start to put roots, and be free, and be able to have people around and just live here properly.....and so yesterday, I paid the year and a half advance for a little one room place on the top of a shop!
When I went to the pastor's house for them to take me to the house, as I was turning onto a road there, I saw a nice little place at the top of a shop and thought that that was a nice place to stay, and when I went with the pastor, that same house was the one that they had brought me to see!! It's one room with a bathroom and a little kitchen area in the large room. It's unfurnished so I shall start with the purchase of a bed and a fan! And then build on that bit by bit!! It also has a thin little balcony going round 2 walls with pretty pink flowers around too....I am happy though, it's a nice little place where I can just plan my time according to me, crash if necessary, and give some of the English lessons there too! It's a secure area, near 2 of the pastors of the church and people that they know, and a couple of friends of mine too, so I won't be totally alone and it's very secure too!!
So the big moving day...of my 2 bags....is on the 1st of April, so that is exciting!
So that is the news for now! It's quite a big step as I am still waiting for the dual citizenship papers and everything, but I believe it is a step that is necessary also, and I know that I will get the citizenship....... so there we are!!
Unfortunately I am unable to show you a picture for now, but I will ask for permission soon!!

The other big news is that Rani the maid here in this house, well she became a Christian today. She was hindu, but she has finally taken the decision to follow Jesus!!
